We relate with our ecosystem through the whole organism. The nervous system, the musculoskeletal system and the environment are in continuous interaction. To recognize how our skin through the sense of touch, our proprioception, or our perceptive awareness, give us learning and our way of being in the world is a fundamental part of this chapter… Defining a place with textures (La Lastrilla Cemetery), activating the perceptual awareness creating a non common perceptive situation (Planetary Garden) or studying a geography or a territory through somatic experience (Heliographies or Civic Ecology)… we could say “wearing directly the topography on our bodies”… instead of trying to learn it through a map, are just some examples…
