The scheme stems from the consideration of the ways of inhabiting from a double perspective: on the one hand, the aim of making human desires and imaginaries inhabitable; and on the other, the related technique that makes them possible. For this reason, the project gives shape to a repertoire of desires related with spatial experiences linked to images- GARDEN, THRESHOLD, LIVING SPACE, SEA, RAINBOW, SILENCE, HEIGHT- among which the inhabitant would have to choose, and whose envelop itself constitutes a dwelling. The result is a landscape whose topography is configured by these “enclosures”, of changing materiality as far as their perception is concerned, and whose sequence or itinerary spurs several spatial pulsations both in the interior of the dwelling and in the exterior. The different spaces, public or private, are not labelled, but obey in their use to the intuitive interpretation of the user. The idea, therefore, is to explore strategies that interact both conceptually and formally with the subjective character of the imagination and experiences, trying to articulate a method similar to that which we can use when working with tangible matter (objective).
