We are happy to share that the catalogue for the 2025 CASA DE LA ARQUITECTURA AWARDS has just been released, revealing the selected projects from last year’s edition. Our book “DESCAMPADOS. Walking the Revolutionary Landscapes of the Somatic City” was chosen as a SELECTED WORK in the ES_RESEARCH category. DESCAMPADOS is a manifesto for an interspecies urbanism that gives voice—through the morphology it proposes for the city—to peripheral bodies, wild weeds, emerging forests, roadside flowers, and even the weather. Revolutionary landscapes, civic ecology, and radical imagination allow us to travel to the edges of our urban practices in order to transform them. The somatic city is shaped by the intimate ecologies of life forms that permanently alter the configuration of the urban.
