Sentient Ecologies

This workshop focuses on immersions within learning environments – installations – created for the occasion. In this way, bodies and architecture intertwine through somatics allowing for extended physiologies and systems that cross our skins. The event works with assemblages of distributed cognition that bring forth new bodies and political revelations. We traverse the anatomy of environments and their relation to our matter following a fluid co-constitution. Skin, flesh, interspecies, dust or borders are some of the key words of these sessions. Theoretical contributions, installations and somatic experiences based on the Feldenkrais Method intertwine throughout the duration of the workshop in a collective happening.
