>>>>>Radical Drawing: The one that relates different and diverse realities, the one that gives appearance to what is underlying and not yet visible or evident. It is a certain act of resistance because it shows alternative imaginaries and possible realities.<<<<<

> And below, an extract from “Espacio Somático. Cuerpos Múltiples” (Ed. Asimétricas, 2019) Translated by the author:

I am architect and I work with bodies.

I work with bodies because they are thoughts, senses, affects, actions…

I work with bodies because any ecological consideration starts from the relationships in between bodies and their environments. Because if we want to change our way of acting in the planet and to be eco-visionaries, we need also to change how we treat these bodies and ours… and change the stereotyped body images by original images in biodiversity within a bio diverse medium.

I work with bodies because knowing their imaginaries we can move towards panarchist political relationships where power emerges from every body with unique creativity and originality… and all of them are empowered in and by their specificity but also supportive with each other in and by their “communality”.

I work with bodies because they hold the key about knowing how to know, only looking to their action and their self-organization.

I work with bodies because they contain landscapes and rhythms… their essence is the essence of other organisms and other natures.

I work with bodies because we live isolated but if we don’t take reality literally, we discover continuity. I work with bodies to have access to continuity.

I work with bodies because we are bodies, we are embodied, and because any action in the planet, architecture or landscape will have links to multiple and diverse bodies and because these actions, architectures or landscapes for bodies of cold and warm blood, will be only ethic if they consider each and every one of us.

I work with bodies because the planet is also our body. Geography and skin in its differences are only a scale matter.

I work with bodies because they are accidents and place, meteorology and air, atmospheres and reality… music and chorus.

I work with bodies because architecture and landscapes need to know them in order to shout and synchronize what they are… in order to reveal them in their originality.

I work with bodies because they are the ones who build/they also build themselves… and destroy/ they also destroy themselves.

I work with bodies travelling inside them to know and be sensitive to the outside.

I work with bodies because I don’t know yet what a body can do.

I work with bodies, I work with worlds.

I work with bodies because of their invisible and intangible dimensions.

I work with bodies because they are fragile and vulnerable, strong and perverse. Because they are born and dye, and they cross thresholds.

I work with bodies because I cannot avoid the corporality about what I am, neither the invisibility of what I will be one day.

I work with bodies because time is ending. I work with bodies because they are time.

I work with bodies because they bring one reality to hand, because when they touch they make revolutions.
